Long tough week

Took the last 2 kittens to get spayed. Torti is doing real well, but LoLo's insicion is a bit swollen and looks infected. I am going to have to call the vet to see what to do. She is the only one out of all of them I have had a problem with. I sure hope she gets alright.

I had ordered a wonderful treadmill and the driver couldnt get his big truck down our driveway so my husband had to drive up to the road and load it into his truck.

Then back at the house he and I had to unload it and bring it in. The box alone weighed 210lbs. Needless to say shortly after that I was unable to walk for the next few days. I dont know how my husband managed to go to work after that. Finally yesterday I was able to get around and do things again. My back is still sore but getting bettter.

Hubby is home this weekend so will be back next week.

What a let down the weather was

Today was rain, snow, sleet so we stayed inside and played fetch for HOURS!!!.

Went and bought Leroy a new bigger collar. He is still not feeling well. I will call his vet and tell them and see what they say. Hasnt dampened that giant appetite of his though.

How sad, the Colts lost their playoff game. Now for my big game, the GIANTS!!! Go Eli!!

Yuck

Boy has it been a gloomy couple days. Me n the zoo have had to stay inside. Lots and lots of rain.

The kitties however are having a ball with their cubes. They have 3 of them and the get in them and roll them around the kitchen floor!!! So fun to watch

Leroy and Molly and I are playing fetch with the last of the christmas stuffy toys. Molly is just as tough as any big dog!!!

Gonna be gone most of the weekend. Playoff games continue, go Colts and Giants!!!
See ya later,

Spent the day gone

Today I went to a Luncheon with a Guest Preacher speaker. It was very nice. I enjoyed the fellowship with the other ladies.

The zoo played outside for awhile after I got home.

I was so worn out I laid down and napped. Then I spent some time with the zoo playing fetch with them.

Last night we had such very high winds that the all of the zoo was scared and nervous, including me.

A little rough today

Leroy the hound dog isnt feeling well today. He got up to potty and then went back to bed. Beetle is the same too.

Sooo, I guess I will wait for them to let me know when and if they want to go out and play. It is still early in the day anyway.

Darn Buckeyes lost the BCS last night. Well at least I still have the Giants to play this coming weekend.
I need to go out and pull up som stakes in the garden that got frozen, but like the zoo kids, I too am moving slowly.
Talk to you later,
Bonnie

Another beautiful day here

The zoo and I spent a lot of time outside today enjoying this wonderful weather. Took a couple walks and did some outside chores.

Right now we are watching the BCS game and hoping the Buckeyes will get themselves together and back in it!!

Is this Winter or What

Boy the Zoo was loving this weather today!! It was 54. All the critters stayed out most of the day. We drained and cleaned the horse trough too!!

On the unhappy side, my Steelers lost in the playoffs!! Wahhhhh But at least the Giants win so I still have hope. Hubby is Patriots all the way.

Going to be gorgeous until about Friday so will be taking the zoo for walks this week.
Talk with you later,

Well it has been awhile

So much has happened since the end of summer. My health got really bad for awhile but now I am on the upside again, YAY!!

I am so happy to say that the old beagle Beetle has made it so far through the winter!! He is having a bit more tough time getting around but we just help him in the door when he goes out.

I have some great pictures of the zoo gang out playing in the snow I will share with you all.

The kittens were so funny when they saw their first snow. None of them wanted to go out the door!! Now they LOVE the snow and want to be out playing in it all the time. We have to make them come in on the nights when it is soooo cold.

I made a trip home to Illinois for Christmas and I really did miss my zoo and they missed me. They had their "dad" to take care of them and he sure wasnt used to all that it takes to take care of them LOL.

On the personal side. I have always wanted to learn how to paint, soooo for Christmas, I received a lot of the Bob Ross painting kits and supplies. I tackled my first painting last week. It is no Rembrandt, but I like it and I am definitely hooked on painting. I can't wait to do another one. It seems to completly take your mind to the canvas and you dont really think about anything other than what you are painting.

Well I am off to see what hubby is up too. I will be back more often now that I feel better.

Bonnie
